Mr. Hanscom Smith, Consul general of the US Consulate General in Shanghai, together with Giorgio Rizzoni, professor of Automotive Research Center in Ohio State University, paid a visit to JEE Automation Equipment Co.,Ltd. on 15th, May. Dr. Lin Juguang, General Manager of JEE, met and accompanied this visit.
First, Dr. Lin Juguang, GM of JEE, had a meeting with Mr. Hanscom Smith and Professor Giorgio Rizzoni in “Passion” meeting room.
The visit is made in the context of the U.S.-China Joint Announcement on Climate Change signed by the Chairman Xi Jinping and President Obama. As we all know that, the development of new energy vehicles is an important task of both two countries. As the world's two largest carbon-emitting countries, we both have great responsibility in environmental protection, therefore we also carried out a series of effective cooperation. Among those, the cooperation between the Ohio State University and JEE could be exemplary. Since 2010, JEE and the US Ohio State University have been continuously deepening the ties being established on comprehensive cooperation in talent cultivation, academic exchange, technology research and development. JEE motor and controller system products, the R & D results of the two countries in new energy vehicles, received the unanimous praise from the guests.
Later, the guests visited the laboratories and workshops of JEE and listened to the introduction about JEE new energy vehicles motor and controller products. JEE owns laboratories for production trial, test, and validation. The detection means takes the leading position in the industry domestically. It has motor and controller production lines with the volume of 30,000 units
capacity, the amount of supplies for pure electric cars takes the first place in China.
